Polyphony Digital previously announced that Gran Turismo 7’s next big update, 1.36, would arrive on August 7th. It’s confirmed to go live at 12 AM PDT/8 AM BST and features four new cars, GT Café Extra Menus and a new Scape. That’s not all, as players can claim the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ‘18 from the Gran Turismo movie. Check it out in the trailer below.
From August 7th to September 28th, players can select the panel on the upper right in the World Map screen to claim the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 ‘18 and a new livery. The other four vehicles are the Chevrolet Corvette (C1) ‘58, Maserati MC20 ‘20, Toyota Ambulance Himedic ’21 and the Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition.
The latter two go live in late September, but you can obtain them early via the World Series Showdown Viewers Gift Campaign and by participating in the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup 2023. The new GT Café Extra Menus include Extra Menu No. 26: “Maserati”, available from Collector Level 40 onwards; Extra Menu No. 27: “Aston Martin” from Collector Level 44 and above; and Extra Menu No. 28: “Kei cars” from Collector Level 27 onwards.
As for the new Scape, it’s the Fukuoka Eastern Fire Station in Japan. Stay tuned for more details on other updates in the future.
