1-bit horror RPG World of Horror will be leaving early access on October 19. The game will also be coming to PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch on the same day. Check out the release date trailer below.
World of Horror was originally slated to leave early access in summer. The game was first released as an early access title back in February 2020 on PC, and has since seen many updates over the years.
The game features a low-fi art style inspired quite heavily by the works of horror manga artist Junji Ito—known for his work on Uzumaki and other horror manga. The game features five mysteries that are randomly generated from an overall pool. These mysteries are further divided into a series of random encounter, making sure that playthroughs are always different.
World of Horror also features a complete set of modding tools for the PC version allowing players to come up with their own horror stories by making use of the game’s general framework.
