Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic will be getting a brand new feature. Announed through a blog post, the feature will be part of an update released on January 19, and will add a new PVE difficulty option.
Dubbed Titan Rune dungeons, the feature allows players to interact with an item at the entrance of all level 80 Heroic dungeons. Interacting with this item will cause all enemies in the dungeon to gain increased health, damage, and additional effects.
The reward for partaking in Titan Rune dungeons is gear that is typically dropped in 10-player versions of the Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity, and The Obsidian Sanctum raids.
Alongside the new Titan Rune dungeons, the update is also bringing with it the start of the Argent Tournament, an update to Emblem drops and vendors, and to headline the patch, the opening of one of the most beloved raids in World of Warcraft—Ulduar. The raid features 14 boss fights, culminating in a fight against the Old God Yogg-Saron.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic is available as part of a regular World of Warcraft subscription on PC.
