Luminous Productions’ Forspoken is about two weeks from launch, so the developer is hosting a new Official Live Broadcast to present the latest details. It’s set for January 17th, 3 AM PST and features producer Akio Ohfuji, co-director Takeshi Terada and creative producer Raio Mitsuno.
In addition to gameplay footage, the developer will also provide information on the PC version. The latter is confirmed to support Microsoft’s DirectStorage, and should also feature ray tracing. The minimum and recommended hardware have yet to be detailed – perhaps we will learn more next week.
Forspoken is out on January 24th for PS5 and PC. A demo is available for PS5, showcasing the exploration, combat and movement. It suffers from issues with HDR implementation, which will be fixed in the full game at launch. Check out the latest cinematic trailer that contrasts Frey’s struggles in New York City and Athia.
