Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has shown incredible promise in all that’s been shown of it so far, and it looks like CD Projekt RED’s action RPG will finally be able to make good on its potential with its upcoming expansion. And with its launch not far away now, soon enough, we’ll be getting another look at what it’ll have in store.
Gamescom Opening Night Live producer and host Geoff Keighley has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will get a new gameplay trailer at the showcase next week, on August 22. It’s one of several major upcoming releases to have been confirmed for the show so far, including others like Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Black Myth: Wukong, Crimson Desert, and Mortal Kombat 1.
Keighley has previously said that this year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live will be more focused on providing updates on upcoming titles rather than announcing brand-new ones.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty launches on September 26 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
