Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6 sales have crossed two million since its release. To celebrate, it’s providing a “small token” of appreciation to all players in-game.
The first mainline title in the series since Street Fighter 5 launched in 2016, Street Fighter 6 sold over one million in less than a week of release. Capcom projected over 10 million copies sold in its lifetime, with its predecessor selling over seven million copies during its lifecycle. If it keeps up this pace, the sequel may reach that target sooner than expected.
Street Fighter 6 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. It includes 18 playable characters, a new Story Mode called World Tour, and Battle Hub as a featured-packed lobby for online matches. For more details on the title, check out our review here.
The first DLC character, Rashid, goes live on July 24th, with A.K.I., Ed and Akuma coming as part of the Year 1 Pass.
