Nvidia has announced its GeForce RTX 4060 series of GPUs with the Ada Lovelace architecture, DLSS 3 support and ray tracing. The RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB is out first on May 24th and costs $399. It’s followed by the RTX 4060, which goes on sale in July for $299, $30 cheaper than the RTX 3060.

July also sees the release of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB for $499. It boasts high-speed GDDR6 RAM with a 32 MB L2 cache. The GPU is touted as 2.6 times faster than the RTX 3060 Super and 1.7 times faster than the RTX 3060 Ti. Without frame generation, it promises 1.6 times faster performance than the RTX 2060 Super. As for the RTX 4060, it has a 24 MB L2 cache.

How these GPUs will perform in real-world settings remains to be seen, so stay tuned for more details. With over 300 titles supporting DLSS 3 (with a plug-in coming soon for Unreal Engine 5) and even bigger ones like Diablo 4 coming up, the RTX 4060 series could prove an attractive option for some PC players.
