With Dead Space’s highly anticipated remake launching soon, EA and developer Motive Studio are continuing to roll out new details on the survival horror game. Its minimum and recommended system requirements on PC were revealed back in October (and were surprisingly hefty), and now, details have also been revealed on its graphics modes on consoles.
On PS5 and Xbox Series X, Dead Space will give players the option to choose between two graphics modes- Quality mode, which will run at 4K at 30 FPS with ray tracing enabled, and Performance mode, which will run at 2K (or 1440p) at 60 FPS, and no ray tracing features.
Dead Space, is of course, going to be a not-so-common example of a major game choosing not to launch as a cross-gen title, so it should be interesting to see how much the game will impress in terms of its visuals and technical aspects courtesy of the power of current-gen consoles.
The game’s out on January 27, so we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
